LEARNING LANGUAGES IN THE

LOCKDOWN

Learning a new language is always exciting. Jaspalians

harbour a genuine interest in learning to speak different

languages.

Amid the dark cloud of Covid 19 pandemic, virtual classes

rekindled the love for language learning. To give an extra

edge to our students, online classes were conducted by

The World Languages Centre during the week. The trainers

used fun learning action packed activities as well as

scientific teaching methodology to help students attain

proficiency in the comfort of their homes. Their interactive

teaching methodology involved power point

presentations, videos and audios along with the required

text to make the lessons interesting. It helped the students

grasp the technicalities.

The objective behind introducing languages like Spanish

and French is that along with the values inculcated by the

school and good education given, our students would be

fit to become good global citizens.
