                    The Vice Chairperson Speaks...

“The ultimate measure of a man is not
where he stands in moments of comfort

and convenience, but where he stands
at times of challenge and controversy.”

                     -Martin Luther King, Jr.

Human nature makes us resist any change especially when it comes in the form of any
adversity or challenge but these tough times during the pandemic have taught many of us
the trait of resilience. This would not have been possible if we all would not have believed in
ourselves and the hidden strength within each one of us.

At the threshold of a new academic year adversity struck in the form of the pandemic. The
gates of the school were shut and our students could not come out of their homes. There
was a complete lock down and everything came to a grinding halt but learning never
stopped at JKPS. It is important for all of us to remember that no matter what, education
and knowledge dissemination cannot suffer. Overnight the staff came together,
collaborated and reinvented themselves, to switch from offline to online mode.

It is indeed a gratifying experience to see that each and every student at JKPS has been
learning well and is getting equipped for a changing world. This would not have been
possible without the support of a hard-working and committed faculty. The guidance given
by them and the handholding with parents is making our children walk the untrodden path
while they redefine themselves into confident individuals.

I would be failing in my duty if I do not express our heartfelt gratitude to our dear parents
who have always stood by us and supported us in all our endeavors. Without your constant
motivation and encouragement this would not have been possible.

I firmly believe that times of trials and tribulations in life can actually lead one into a greater
experience of the world and this can make us appreciate and be grateful for all that one has.
It is also important to count our blessings and remember that the human
spirit is indomitable; it will rise against all odds!
Wishing you all good health and the power to sail through these difficult times!
          Stay safe and stay blessed.
