With the onset of the COVID-19 global pandemic and consequent closure of schools
throughout the world, Digital Learning has been pushed to the forefront and has come to
replace traditional educational methods. In the rapidly changing universe of education, digital
learning has made its place and is here to stay even after the pandemic subsides. There is no
looking back from here. The benefits of adopting Digital Learning will have a very positive
and powerful impact on our future generations.
Digital Learning has a lot of untapped potential, but we would urge you to explore this
Virtual World cautiously. This is where the concept of Digital Literacy plays a major role.
Digital Literacy is one of the most important 21st Century Literacy Skills. It is the ability to
use digital technology safely while staying within the bounds of social responsibility. It
allows students, who are increasingly getting access to digital devices and the internet, to
learn how to minimize risks and maximize learning.
One of the most important aspects of Digital Literacy is understanding the potential risks and
safeguarding against them. Installing a good antivirus software in order to protect personal
information, avoid identity thefts and ransomware attacks, is a very crucial aspect of this.
Another important aspect of digital literacy is proper management of one’s digital footprint,
as it can influence our reputation and may have dire consequences if adequate attention is not
     paid to understanding its implications.
In a world where technology is steadily taking over tasks that were once thought of distinctly
human, those are the skills that will be most crucial. Therefore, in order to avoid such
eventualities and to make full use of the potential that the world of Digital learning offers, we
must all equip ourselves with IT Skills, become responsible digitally literate citizens. We
understand that staying at home in these uncertain times can get overwhelming, but this
situation has also provided us with an unmatched opportunity to learn new skills, especially
those that will make us future ready. The entire team at JKPS along with our guiding light
chairman sir and vice chairperson ma’am are committed to give our students the ability to
explore things for themselves, take in new information, make sense of it and communicate
     what they've learned to others.

Technology Connects us. Technology Unites us. Technology amplifies our power.
     Stay safe and keep learning!
